The J.O.S.S. Project was created to provide private, sensory-friendly hair services for women and female children with autism and sensory sensitivities.

All appointments are completely free for families, made possible through community donations and sponsorships.

Traditional salon environments can often feel overwhelming—loud dryers, bright lights, strong smells, and busy spaces. Our mission is to remove those barriers and create a calm, safe, and supportive beauty experience.

Every appointment is intentional. Every client is cared for with patience, respect, and understanding.

At The J.O.S.S. Project, we believe beauty should never feel stressful or overwhelming.
We exist to create a peaceful, sensory-safe environment where women and girls who experience sensory sensitivities can receive hair services with dignity, comfort, and care.
This is a donation-supported community project designed to ensure access for families who need a calmer salon experience.

A controlled sensory-safe environment for a peaceful experience.
House Call Services (Limited Availability)
Select appointments offered in the home for clients who are more comfortable in familiar surroundings.

All services through The J.O.S.S. Project are completely free for families.
Appointments are made possible through:
